towing
I have a 95zj that I'm wanting to tow with. Its a dual axle car trailer, and a mustang shell. Guessing the total weight to be about 3000 pounds. I have the 4.0. Just wondering if I would have any problems doing this. Thanks guys

I dont know which trans you have, but I had to tow a loaded Ford Explorer on a dual axle trailer for about 40 miles, and my 99 sport performed admirably. The weight of the 'splorer was probably between 3500-4000 lbs, not counting the trailer. Just keep in mind its a Jeep, not a Powerstroke. Watch your temps, keep it out of overdrive, and try to be easy on your trans. The 4.0L is easily up to the task. The biggest problem is STOPPING!!
