Too much for that year in my opinion. Remember thats over a decade old now and in my area (central California) for 5k you can buy a a real nice 2002+ car or truck with barely over 100k on tach and

Remember that the mileage doesn't always justify the price. some older cars and trucks run just as good and may even be more reliable. that aside it's a nice jeep and that's just the asking price. Try low-balling him at around 3500 and take it at 4000

I guess it all depends on your area. A Jeep like that without the damage would sell around here for 6-7k.

On the original 2000 that was posted... has anyone noticed the steering column? Looks like it is apart... why would that be??

Its the angle of the pic . . it has space between the wheel and the dash for the tilt if thats what your pointing out
