reviving this thread with an update on my Jeep... I followed the advice and went with an adjustable shackle + lift block in the back and a coil spacer in the front. Total cost was about $140. I'm very happy with the new look, and it still drives nicely. No crazy wobble, drive shaft angle problems, etc. Success!
Total lift is 1.75" in the front.
2" block in the back + the adjustable shackle (probly gives it like 2")

And I thought that I carried a lot of weight in my cargo area finally weighted mine and was ashamed to tell anyone 152# yes too much.
But mine is all recovery gear, tools, air compressor, parts for XJ's and a very large first aid kit, well some guns and ammo. But IMHO they can (some may disagree) are all useful if not required items, at least for me.
My hearing was shot a long time ago from shooting without ear protection, young and stupid so I pay the price. But that speaker would be enough for me to hear from 10 mi. away. Now my question, Who in GOD's name would want to be bothered with that much volume from the area it would cover?
Maybe I'm just old and love "Rock & Roll" among other types as well.......No Rat Music please, that is not music.. just kidding NOT!
I must admit you did a hellva of a good job on building that when I was in the mid 30's I had a very nice system at home 4 Klipsh K-Horns in 4 corner's of the room and a 36" 2500w sub built into a Coffee Table.
One of my favorite pieces of music was the 1812 Overture with a dozen large bells ringing together and 21 cannons fired. You would never believe the sound from that system and that recording (Reel to Reel).
