There's nothing "subtle" about taking a squared off vehicle with squared headlights & putting rounded headlights in. Different? Yeah. Unusual? heck yeah. Subtle? Not in a million years.

um ... and here's one I read about years ago ...

By subtle I meant that a lot of people wouldn't notice at first glance, obviously everyone on this forum wound notice. But my wife, probably not at first

I converted to round headlight on my 97 XJ about a year ago. I could not find cheap TJ headlight buckets so I went with $25 CJ-7 buckets I found at a salvage yard. I posted the link bellow with some pics. Enjoy fellas.

XJ's with round lights although they look pretty cool and different, they remind me a bit of a Patriot's Big Brother.. lol

I actually really like the member's XJ whose pic I used in the post! Looks clean, and kinda makes me think about roundy's lol.

Actually all of these look really sweet... the custom ones and the "Chinese??" version looks super badass... man what I could do with those.. would be an excellent HID retrofit base...

That's my old ride, RIP. I used head light buckets of an old CJ. I realy want to go round again on my new XJ project.

I put a JK bumper on an XJ and was going to add fender flares and round lights (but sold the Jeep before getting to all that). So sure....round lights! But yes, done right, and with lots and lots of designing and engineering.
