Default tires rub full lock quick fix ?

hi all not been here for a bit lol jeep has been behaving i have just fitted 31.10.5.r15 tyres on my stock rims and they rub a little on the lower control arm at very full lock can i remove the steering stop bolt and replace it with a longer one i know this will give me a larger turning circle but in the uk a car will not pass its safty test(mot) if anything rubs
cheers
