Default Tire wearing?

I have a 98 xj and my drivers side front tire is wear on the outside. When I make a sharp turn something pops any ideas on what it could be and how hard it is to change?

Post a pic of the tire. You could have a bent tie rod, bent axle, worn ball joints, or even a bad tire causing the wear. As far as the popping noise, it could also be from bad ball joints, worn tie rod ends, loose track bar brackets, or a loose steering box.

LMFAO, wow... ok, jack it up, grab the wheel, find out where you can wiggle it at, my bet is ball joints.

Also, a picture of the wear on the tire would help.
But mainly, get it up in the air and start wiggling.

I knocked mine out of alignment and I'm getting bad tire wear now.
Popping could be a number of things though.
Start wiggling stuff lol
