Tire Reviews
I haven't seen a thread about this yet and hopefully we can get it stickied.
I wanna hear your reviews on the tires you've used. List the pros and cons. I'll get it started
I've got 2 XJ's
'95 Running 32x11.50x15 ProComp Mud Terrains
'99 Running 33x12.50x15 ProComp Mud Terrains
These are my first XJ's and so far these are the only tires Ive used.
Off-Road
I can't say enough good things about them! Where I wheel most (cause it's 2 miles from my house) is VERY wet, muddy and sloppy mud holes and river crossings. Neither of my XJ's have lockers and I have yet to get stuck, even in some holes that've stuck jeeps lifted higher than mine with lockers. I've been able to back out of any trouble I've gotten into and throttle through it again with great success. The ONLY issue I had was a sidewall puncture this past sunday from a stump that was in one of the mudholes. This was mostly my fault because I didn't air them down before wheeling. I have yet to try them on rocks yet.
On-Road
They grip great dry or wet and the noise is suprisingly quiet for such a big lug, I have no issues hearing my music over the tires at only moderate volume from a stock stereo system.
Overall
I would recommend these tires to anyone and will be trying the Extreme MT's next
I am in love with my ProComps!

Firestone Destination M/T's 31/10.50/15
I purchased my first set about a year ago and have loved them since!
Mileage- i got about 60,000 miles out of my tires before i sold them to a friend. I only sold them because he needed some tires bad! They had aprx 25% tread left and still never disappointed me offroad. I will say they need to be rotated often or else they will start to wear abnormally.
Mud- amazing! The tires proved themselves time and time again in deep sloppy mud and also slick clay! They clean out very well and will sling chunks of mud with every rotation. I did get stuck with the tires but of course it wasn't their fault. I bottomed out.
Water- i did a couple of crossings with the tires and i have to be honest, the only thing that could've done better was a propeller! Wet roads are nothing for this tire! They handled very well at 80mph on rain soaked curves.
Rocks- im sure they would fair very well on rocks but i didn't get to test them on big rocks before i sold them.
Sand- not the best sand tire as the big lugs have a tendency to dig down when the tire is NOT aired down! But when aired down, you better step back. These tires float like the space station.
Road- nice tire onroad but the do make a little more noise than i would like. They are not a very heavy tire so they don't rob you of power. Wet roads, no problem. Icy roads, minimal issues. Snowy roads, no problems.
Overall a very nice tire. I would and have recommended this tire to many people and friends!

^^^ x2 on everything in the above post.
65,000 miles on the current set - IN THE FRONT (only rotated once), and just reaching the point of changeout. And I hit (6) mini traffic circles each way to and from work every day, and I am not an "easy" driver lol.
Unstoppable offroad and onroad.
10/10 for the Destination M/Ts (and they're sexy too!)

How are they in different terrain? What terrain have you traversed with them? Road manners? Wear?
The point of this thread is to provide information on the various Offroad tires out there so that forum members who are in the market for tires can make an informed decision. Saying "I love such and suck tire" is an utterly useless post.

You want a tire review? Go to tirerack.com and check out their reviews.
Or, better yet....use the search button as this has been covered before.

And what's a tire rack review gonna look like? Some jack off wrangler owner saying how cool they look rolling around the mall parking lot? This is a forum of wheelers and I'd trust a review here over any tire rack review

why the hostility? It's a simple concept to just post a review. If you like a tire (or not) - say so and why/why not.
Stop replying to the thread just to add to the drama.
