Hello:

What is your best tire experience? I am in the market for a new set of tires for my stock 15 inch rims. 215/75R/15 (Jeep Cherokee SE).

I am looking to spend under $400 all said and done. I'd like more of a truck tire than a passenger, somewhat aggressive tread, and of course good ride and quality.

Anyone?

You don't want too much do ya?? Your price point is a little off of the mark. You might be able to get into a budget set of ATs, like a Futura, or Dakota. You CAN'T touch a set of premium ATs for that price, sorry!! HTH!!

 

Why go with 215s, when you can fit 235s and get a slighly better look to your XJ? I got a set of Goodyear Wrangler Radials from Walmart. They are currently $70 each.

I have been satisfied with thier performance so far. Infact they dug me out of a mud hole this morning... in my driveway no less.. Living in the country, my tires get put through quite a bit and so far have done well.

I had these same tires on my 87 GMC fullsize pickup and did not like the look because the 235s were too small on a big truck. But for the XJ they look ok.
