Default Tips For New Jeep Owner

i have a 2001 jeep cherokee 4x4 with currently no modifications, im getting my license in february and would like to get a lift on my jeep by then. does anyone know what a good company for a good price would be good for a 3.5" lift and 33" tires would be? As well as a 4 light light bar for the top of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

My advice is learn how your jeep responds and performs as a stock vehicle. Considering you haven't gotten your license yet, you should learn how the jeep performs before any modifications so when you do modify it, you will know what to expect. If you immediately lift the jeep and put some massive tires underneath, then go flying down the highway, you won't know the limitations of yourself and the vehicle.

I'm not trying to attack you, I'm just saying, take your time to do everything right (measure twice, cut once) and be patient. I was just as eager to have the biggest baddest jeep out there. Also, save your money and invest in high quality parts, don't skimp because you don't have enough at the time.

Thanks for the advice, i do drive it everyday to school with my dad and he drives it home, so its only a 2 mile drive 5 days a week. I agree with you, i should take more time before i do anything to it

Duder a stock Cherokee is a pretty capable and fun vehicle. Push the limits in stock form and see how it goes. 33's are rough for a jeep without regearing.
