So long story short my hubs was going bad and previous owner put one composite hub on one side and full cast on the other. I put both full cast hubs along with new rotors but no pads. Jeep drove fine alot more quiet but the past couple days it started to make a thud noise while braking. And its speed related. So the faster im coming to a stop the faster the thud noise until i come to a stop. It dosent make the thud noise while driving only while braking and i can feel it in the brake pedal and little in steering wheel. I have new duralast gold rotors and new duralast hubs which timkien makes now. Any ideas guys? I checked my lug nuts there tight.

Are the brackets that hold the pads wore out? Seen many of those where the pad wore the bracket.

Im thinking the retainers on the pads are worn out. They have plenty of pad left but my old rotors was a little grooved. I didnt change the pads when i put the correct rotors on the new ones. Im thinking the pads are shot
