Default Thoughts on High-Lift Jacks

i just bought one finally and im trying to think of a place to mount/store it thats more practical than the hood or roof rack.... any ideas?

X2 on keeping inside the cab. I'm planning on getting the river raider mounts. I feel that's the best option.

Mines under the back seat in my XJ when I buy a 2nd for my YJ it'll stay inside the cab also

On the outside unless you keep a pad lock on it i see it walking off one day.

X2 mines under the back seat.I forget its even back there. I copied BrentT s mount design.

I'm definitely going to keep mine under my back seat when I get it. I don't want it getting stolen, lol.

Don't need no Stink'in Pad Lock only my 1911 .45 Colt Combat. Mines outside all the time keep it lubed and a cover over the main section as well. Had it mounted to the rack earlier but this was built-in when I got it, mines a 60' Hi-Lift.

The most practical place for me was in the garage. If I put it back in the jeep, it will probably be mounted under the rear seat though.

I used the River Raider set up and I liked it quite a bit. Hi Lift is in out of the weather and easily accessible. That said, I installed a shelf in the cargo area which meant that the brackets had to go.
