Odd. I tried it in IE, and I can see all the pics. I stopped counting around 140. I can only see about 30 in Firefox. Maybe my ad blocker.
They claim "We take over 300+ pictures of each car", and I think that's probably true.
I think we have a new definition of "rust free", folks: "There is no obvious rust bubbling through the exterior paint job."
It certainly meets that definition!

Now the next question is, "How much of that nice shiny new paint job was sprayed over Bondo that was slapped over a rust hole?"

If you read in the fine print in the description its located in Nashua NH. Now if that was driven even a little bit in the snow and salt it is going to have rust. I lived up in that area and my jeep spent its the first 8 years of its life up there, had less than 100,000 mile and only small surface rust underneath when I moved to NC in Jan 2008. I was OCD about washing the salt off when I lived up there too. In the past three years I have had to replace the rockers inner and outer rocker cut and fold my rear quarters and I noticed last time I was changing the oil a quarter sized hole in my floor board all because of rust and my jeep hasn't seen salt since I moved down here. Once any salt touches any vehicle its going to rust doesn't matter how well you clean it. So I would definitely stay away from this one, with that much rust visible underneath. There is no telling where else it has started rusting, it may not be seen now, but it will eventually show up.
I have been watching this thread. I have stayed out of it. Until now.
First of all it's a "dealer" on ebay...and not just a mom and pop, but one that has aspirations of becoming Davis Autosports...and they are out of their ever loving minds.
First of all, they should be ashamed of themselves for marking up a Jeep Cherokee that high, at that price, it had better be Barret-Jackson quality...
Second, they should also be ashamed that they've done virtually NOTHING to the undercarriage, at that price, it better be IMMACULATE.
Third, I don't even trust their name...Dusty OLD Cars...damn right.
I hope they die a fiery death for listing vehicles like this. As P.T. Barnum said, there's one born every minute...but they take advantage of that, to the extreme. Straight evil.

It doesn't even meet THAT lame definition though. Look at the gas door pic. There is rust coming through on the door and the quarter panel. These guys are lying thieves.Originally Posted by BlueRidgeMark

I paid $500 for my 89, with 0 rust... I mean it didn't run, and the paint was pretty ****ty, but for a fraction of what they are asking for, I can have a pretty sick jeep... if this was museum quality... maybe?

Around here, I'd consider $5-6k fair maybe. This just reinforces my lack of respect and hatred for dealers.

Oh, yeah. I had missed that the first time.
And thank you for reporting them!
