Default Thinking of selling

So I have a 1988 Modified Jeep Cherokee 4 door 2wd 220,000 orig miles very little rust originally from texas...i was thinking of selling..it has side and front invasion stars with military grade paint with bedliner spray under paint for a rough surface look... runs good and just had all the basics tuneup, new battery, windshield, paint, wipers, tires headliner everything works....inside carpet has some wear and dirt. I paid $700 for it and it wasn't running when i purchased...i've put about $3k into it ...i'm not sure what to ask for it...i have many photos. Any ideas?

Selling prices vary greatly from area to area, I suggest looking at local sales of similar vehicles to get an idea on prices around you. That said, that vehicle would only go for around $2k here in SoCal, due to age, mileage, and being 2wd. Forget about what you put into it, that's all basic maintenance stuff and doesn't affect value.

this and only being 2wd is what will keep people from spending good money on it.. to me the rough paint will make it look that you are hiding rust under it..
