"That's a nice looking truck"

"I think it's too tall"

"Why is your CAR always dirty?"

I have yet to find any one thing that really upsets me, but one of my off roading buddy's is always razzing me that I own a lifted 4x4 station wagon. But I don't get upset cus my lifted station wagon has pulled his purpose built truck out of the thick of it more than once.

"Oh you got one of those little box jeeps, does it have one of those 4 liter V6s?"
Asked by a guy driving a 4 door JK with 20 inch rockstar rims that is spotless with armor all on the tires....

"I wouldn't own one of those, they are too easy to flip"

"Does the top come off? It's not a real jeep then"

"Your check engine light is on"

I was talking to my buddy about what i had left to do on my XJ. One of the mechanics in my unit asks me "what kind of jeep?" I said a 95 jeep Cherokee. His response "pfft if it was a real jeep like a wrangler I'd make you an offer"

I'm sorry but last time I went wheeling and or mudding with a wrangler I had to pull it out or help it along.

"How many miles to the gallon do you get?"

"Why is it always so dirty?"

"What's that noise?"

"Is that your boyfriends jeep?"

And my personal favorite: "Wouldn't you rather have a cute little sports car?"

Truck guy: "Why's that thing so loud? V8 shouldn't be that loud."
Me: "It's not a V8, its an I6 out of an IH tractor."
Truck guy: "Why would you choose that over a normal SBC 350?"
Me: "Because it was free, it fits and can outpull your Chevy."

Me: I need spark plugs for my 93 Jeep Cherokee. Just a regular Cherokee.
Parts guy: Grand Cherokee?
Me: No. As I said just a regular Cherokee.

It's become habit for me to ask regular or grand even after they say regular because halfway through the parts list they say it's a grand, so it could just be habit from something similar

I always figured they were supposed to ask so they don't get people coming in for returns all the time

On craigslist when it says at the bottom, "Will trade for a Jeep. Not a Jeep Cherokee." So a Jeep Cherokee isn't a Jeep? Couldve fooled me, I could swear there's a Jeep emblem on my hood.
