Was sitting at bk with the new girl when a pretty good wrangler goes through the drive through she says " why don't you have a jeep like that?" I say " what you think that's a real jeep?" she says " ya that's a real jeep"... I broke up with my last girl cuz she didn't like my Cherokee... But at least this one still thinks my Cherokee is bad *** but still bugs the hell outa me that she thinks it's " not a real jeep"

Always do what im doing. Bedline the entire thing. Depending on what you use. Itll look nice, not rust, and hold the dirt and mud on just right.

so about 3 months ago, in my wife's grand cherokee, i was out tooling around, when a guy in the biggest steel body suburban i've ever seen, gets stuck sideways on this wimpy little hill, he tried backing down and turning around, halfway down the hill. i drive up the hill (in 2 wheel drive) and ask if he needs help. he says "Yeah if you got the number to a real truck that can get me out of here!" i said well i happen to have such a number. i dial my wife's number. who is sitting in the passenger seat, we make a show of it. and finally the dip-stick realizes we are his only hope. so i get to the top of the hill, throw him a line, he ties it to his bumper, and not 15 seconds later, his bumper is about 20 yards away from his burb. he said "oh well maybe if i took it out of gear and maybe if i didn't buy a cheap welder and maybe if i had a real truck pull me out...." etc. etc. blah blah blah. i give up and back up to his burb's front hub, throw a chain around it, drop wife's jeep in 4 low (the whole time he's grumbling about how he's never getting out of here, on this 10% grade) and drag his sorry *** up the hill SIDEWAYS. A$$-HAT. i left him there. came back about an hour later in my 96XJ, and he stops me, asking if i can tow him into town. he blew his motor attempting the same hill peaved that i made it in 2 and he wouldn't in 4 low. i drug him to the wrecking yard, pointed out a rolled cherokee, and told him "get yourself a real motor". about a week ago, i ran into him again on the trails. driving a 99 XJ. stock.
to make a long story short. he said one too many wrong phrases, and proved himself a sore loser and eventually a convert.

Ppl just dont realize the potential behind these little jeeps, I love dropping jaws. Pulled out a Ram2500 who got stuck trying to pull out a subby outback in a snow covered parking lot. Had them both out in 15 minutes. The ram guy grumbled and drove off embarrassed while the subby owner bought me a few rounds off beer at the ski resorts bar. Bwa ha!
