Started the day if by finish welding my 2x6 rockers and braces. Cane back and hour later to mock up on the jeep to weld at about 8:30 grinding a little bit not realizing the time till I get a tap on the shoulder from the officer. Got a call for a noise complaint. stupid neighbors don't understand xjs. Stopped with that and started welding them to the "frame" welding all of a sudden I run out of wire. No bigge switch rolls start feeding it trough and missed the fees tube and goes through the rubber lead. Fix that problem and finally get the wore through after taking the gun apart . Continue welding and run out of gas about 10 min later stores closed. Continued on the passenger side which was fully welded and ready for some bedliner going OK except a few drips and next thing you know there paint spewing out from under the spray nozzle and the nozzle come off and paint is coming out in huge clumps on the driveway and halfway up my door . Thow the can away about 3/4 full. Go inside grab my phone to get some picks for you guys and drop it on the cement .cracked. spiderwebbed. Decided to call it a night before something else went wrong.

 

We all have them nights. Try again another day

 

Most places 8pm is the cut off for doing any work.I wouldn't have called the cops i would have just walked over and talked to you first.

Yes, yes they are... And sometimes your neighbors are SUPER dicks. My neighbor hates me, and we have had-it-out a time or two over how late I am out working in the garage, and every time I tell him to call the cops he never has... Cept once... And to cop told him to quit being old and mean and let me do my thing (never am I overbearingly loud) and go on about his business

 

Yeah usually he's jot bad but tonight with the saw compressor and grinder was a bit much which I could understand.

 

Yea I understand that, but like the OP said, he should have come talked to you first.

 

I wouldn't think twice about working with a grinder at 8 PM on a Saturday. Noise violations don't kick in til 11 PM around here and I'll be damned if I'll stop for a neighbor who can't be bothered to come talk to me first.

Used to have a neighbor upstairs like that in my old apartment. He'd call the cops constantly on me to the point where they knew me by name and apologized for getting sent out. I'd have music on at 6 PM on a Friday night and you couldn't even hear in the bathroom outside my room (they shared a wall) yet without fail every time he'd call in a noise complaint. Got so bad that I just started cranking it till 10:59 then I'd shut it off. Just some stupid ****ty old ******* with nothing better to do than complain and ruin **** for everyone else.

I've had ****ty neighbors that partied all hours of the night without any thought or regard for anyone else around them and it sucks, and I genuinely try to take my neighbors into consideration when I do ****, but if you don't even have the decency to politely and respectfully talk to me and instead just jump on calling the cops I will be the hugest ******** annoyance I can possibly be to you without actually breaking the law so there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

 

I swapped out my t state two hours before work today and it fought me the whole time right up until I had to leave..... It was by no means as bad as yours though.
My neighbors and myself have an understanding that if the other is being too loud just come over and let us know. I've had plenty of ***** neighbors myself too.
I like where I'm living at now but before I moved there it was precious at times lol.
Once when I worked the graveyard shift my neighbor felt the need to mow his yard AFTER I got home and wound down and turned in for the day.
I got tired of it and asked if he could just not do the side near my bedroom window.... He said "f you" and with that I would mow my yard late at night when he was asleep.
You know he chilled out after that lol and apologized and it never happened again lol.

 

My neighbor called the cops on me last week and I almost went to jail . Also my day consisted of breaking down on the side if the road, and cutting my hand open and going to the ER.. Not fun

Perfect! I'd be throwing rocks at the neighbors house by now... IT'S ALL HIS FAULT! LOL

 

Dude, just go back inside, don't touch anything and don't come out till monday.
