Teaser: Gears and Lockers
Please dont judge me on the choices i have made on what brands or anything i have chosen for MY jeep, just be happy for me haha
But that said, here are a few teaser pics of some goodies i bought recently, im almost done with the rear and maybe next week ill do the front. I was planning on doing a build thread of the gears but its pretty complicated to explain but will see how many pics i get of the process
small detail:
4.56 Gears
Dana 44 rear w/ spartan locker
Hp30 front with chromo axles shafts (30 SPLINE)
Eaton E locker front (30 SPLINE)

just LOOKING at that picture makes me feel like a child on christmas. yeah the regear process is insane I wouldnt bother with a write up
cant wait to hear how the test run goes congrats man
curious why you chose 4.56 over the 4.88's tho?
for anyone who wants a regear write up, this is a pretty decent one

and i chose 4.56 over 4.88 because i do a lot of driving with it and i drive highway a lot. So driving 75mph at 3k rpm isnt what a want, there is a slight bit of a difference but thats what my engine mods are going to be for. I might end doing a 4.6 stroker or changing out to a chevy 5.3...Also when i change my tires next time im going to be running 40's...at that time i will swap out to dana 60 or 10.25 and a 44 up front and run 4.88's haha i have a lot of plans for my jeep since i will keep it for a long time

ok just wondering for my own gearing purposes. I wanted the 4.88's for my future 35's but I was worried about breakage because I'm prone to severe skinny pedal. lol
so I think I want to do 4.56 as well with an engine mod or two as well
that looks like a pretty decent contact pattern. only looks a little bit off at this angle
