Rustys. I've ran both companies. Never broke anything from either but everything about the rc lift felt cheap. The rustys coils have a softer spring rate..and to me their leafs ride much better.
I've personally met Rusty, talked with him...and have been following them a while. Rustys is definitely moving in the right direction..they are designing much more quality pieces and are appealing to a much larger group of people...from those with a 3 inch lift and 31s to those in the jeep speed scene.

I live minutes from one of rustys biggest distributors...so if I ever buy rustys stuff I pick it up locally.

Don't buy add-a-leaf, and don't run cheap shocks unless you want it to ride like a tank

RE 3.5 gets my vote, with Bilstein shocks.
Or piece together your own kit.

I've always bought rough country. The new shocks and new bushings are a good improvement over the old stuff. I'm more than happy with my 00's series 2 3" lift.

ARB OME 2" full packs are like $110 a piece. Get those with some quality 1" shackles for the rear.

Get yourself some good 3" springs for the front and invest in some Bilsteins.

I wouldn't waste my time and money on RC or Rustys (though I'd take RC over Rustys). You'll just end up spending more in the long run upgrading when you can realistically just save a few more bucks now for a couple weeks and get something good the first time.
