Saw her tonight! The shop used Hot Rodz(?) Desert Tan. At first, I didn't like it. Looked like it had too much yellow-green in it. But it grew on me really quickly. I was concerned it would look too military wannabe-ish. But with the black flat flares & bumpers, it looked pretty good. Pictures tomorrow when I get her back. They have a few more things to do.

In other news, they didn't notice they had received the wrong windshield until today. Hopefully the new one arrives before they close. Otherwise, it won't be done until Monday...and I leave on a business trip on Monday afternoon. Dammit!

Nope, no windshield today. So it looks like I won't get her back until Monday. Until then, I can look at these pics and plan ahead. I think I made a mistake in having the mirrors painted tan. I should've kept them black...although, nothing says I can't do it myself later. Also missing in this pic is the brush guard. They still haven't put it back on yet, but it's only 4 bolts so no big deal. So yeah, bigger, more aggressive tires. And maybe I should bedline the lower section to give it more color contrast as well as protection. I like how the BW flat flares came out.

Lookin good!
Ditto for me in a way, in my little local 4x4 group one guy picked OD green for his dirt bike, rifle furniture, and other things so I went Desert Tan.
