Default taking drivers test on monday, need advice

turned 16 today, going to take my drivers test on monday! but i cant decide what i should take the test in, my ZJ, or my dads chevy cruze? im leaning towards the cruze because its smaller for parallel parking and 3pt turn...im comfortable driving either..just have a harder time getting in and out of the cruze lol....idk what do you guys think??

Personally I would use the cruze just because it is smaller and newer.

I took my test in my xj lol I had it since I was 15... I passed first try, if there test is the same as it is in Michigan than dont worry to much on the parallel parking... I completely failed that portion but still passed the test

To take the test in VA through the school system, everyone has to ether drive a Chevy Impala or Malibu. I wasn't used to driving something so small, but I got the hang of it. My instructor was one of my teachers and coaches, so he didn't really care. We basically ran errands for him. Go to 7-11 so he could buy a slurpee, go to Home Depot so he can buy some paint. Pretty easy.

I took mine in an 87 New Yorker, only issue was the digital speedometer...the tester eyeballed that and if it went 1 mph over the limit (even for a sec) she marked me down. Now that they are more common I would be mindful of that.

I took mine in a 2006 Pacifica, kept my speed between the limit and 5 under, messed up a little backing up because you can't see out of a back window very well if it's only a foot tall, but passed first try, good luck!

Do it in what you are comfortable with. Go practice the test now. Go to your driving course and practice parking and all that.

I did mine in my stock 2wd Xj and passed that *****

Took mine in a 1999 concord, with horrible blind spots... For parallel parking they give you 5 extra feet of space. (at least where i took it). I got a point for being too careful when pulling out... But do it in what is more comfortable for you, dont worry to much about it and stay relaxed you will be fine.

My instructor gave up on me trying to parallel park...lost all the points for it, but still passed the first time around.
