2001 145k miles what is going to be the better oil for me?

I would use standard in any 4.0. My buddy got his Jeep and it had synthetic in it. Had about 40 oil leaks and oil pressure very rarely above 30. Put in some good conventional 10-30 and it leaks way less (hardly at all for 175k) and pressure never goes below 30.
