Default Swamped Cherokee sport

I currently drive a pos honda and was looking on craigslist for a good deal on a jeep and i found one. i was talking to him on the phone and he said his friend swamped it and it needs a electronic fan clutch and the transmission slips every since the guy swamped it. do you think i should buy the jeep for 1200 dollars. its lifted and ready for mudding aside from the mechanical problems.

So yes should i buy it or no.

1200 is a little high for me... i would consider it for a lot less.

Do you think i can just have the trani flushed and that will fix the slippage or what. cause its a 2000 cherokee sport with power everything and i just want it to work

If all it needs is a "new" motor and transmition (maybe) and it has bad *** lift parts and other after market parts (bumpers and tires and what not) then maybe. Pics would also be a bit help. I have "swamped my truck 2 times now it just takes a bit of care after lol

Hard to see the pics, but it dont look to bad. Not a good description either. If you can do the work your self and want a project then offer him 900 cash or something. But be prepared to find other problems as time goes on. Specially since he used it like he should.
