Exclamation Suspention Fell Apart

a few months ago i had my tuff country 3.5 lift put on . i thought that i had a messed up shock on the driver's side rear when i noticed hoow it was angled. i come to find out, after going muding twice that it had come completly off my truck. luckly it was still attacted to my rear axel. what the h3ll is there a way to keep the shocks in place.? lets face it the stock cherokee shock mounts for the rear dont look like the best ? one of the screws had completly fallen out and the other was so loose that u could turn it with your fingers. thankfully a brake line was in the path of the shock and kept it from dragging the ground.

Sounds to me like someone forgot to tighten some bolts.

It can happen to anyone, at least you caught it before anything bad happened.

Anytime you do work like that, you should go back over the bolts a week or two later & make sure they are all tight.

Especially lug nuts on aluminum rims.
