I've never been pulled over for anything vehicle-wise in Florida.

I know some other states can be real *******s about stuff, even things as little as mudflaps and fender flares.

The only problem with this is that up here different officers seem to have different interpretations of the law, where 99% might not have a problem with me not having a bumper at all, there's still that 1 guy who may look at a certain bumper and try to say it's not good enough. I've had officers compliment me on the jeep and not even mention anything about the missing bumper, so I wasn't in a rush to get a new one. With the description on 540CMR4.04(12)(a) I think the stubby will be fine, the stock bumpers may be cheap at the jy, but not having recovery points is a deal breaker for me. When I can afford to upgrade to a full bumper/winch set up I doubt I'll have a lot of trouble selling this one.

Good welds are stronger than the metal they hold together, funny that broke in a straight line where it was cut and welded. Just saying was a problem with something for sure prep, heat are the only times I have ever saw that with 8 yrs. in a metal fab shop.

Well the wing was just welded on. I was gonna gusset it but never got around to it. I did finally fix it and make both sides match.
