ok so im thinking of doing alot of stuff to my stock xj this summer and one of the things is trying to make it different than every xj out there. i what to hear what u guys think about daul black racing strips on my white xj, i would be putting it down the hood, roof and down the rear hatch. i also plan on doing
-window tints
-bed line the lower portion by the rusted out rocker panels
-custon headliner like a nice blue cloth to replace the factory grey cloth

i just wanna make my jeep mine, hopefully something that wud be appreciated by xj owners. also leave some opinions on cheap upgrades or ideas...thanks guys

 

it will stick out, but those things have been done before. You could get a brush guard or rock sliders to make it stick out, or wire offroad or fog lights on it. just some ideas

 

i have bedliner on the bottom half of mine. u will love it. mud washes right off

 

my jeep already had a brush gaurd on it when i bought it and i bought 2 100 watt KC lights for it, if i figure out how to upload pics in a minute i'll do it.. then i gotta try to make it my profile pic.

 

you could scrap it that would definetly make it different

 

paint wont make it stand apart from the crowd. gotta start cutting to do that

thats not a brush guard, its a push bar, and its all rusty, would look better without it, do big tires and no lift, that will stand out from the crowd...

 

my bad lol. but yeah im thinkin of sandblasting it this summer and painting it flat black or gloss black, im still undecided on it...

i have a push bar just like that except its the standard police push bar off of a police cruiser

 

Racing stripes on a cherokee? Why not put whistler tips on there to make it go WOO WOO
