Hi guys i recently bought a 1987 XJ Pioneer and on top of it being 2door and having the rare tire carrier (no arm sadly ) but the color combo i never seen but did XJs ever come in two tone body colors? the color of it is a light beige or cream and brown along and around the fenders and doors 360 so tan on brown anyone seen this color or is it custom? the wheels are the same creamish tan color but the brown is that original? thanks fellow XJ owners

The most common 2-tone was a solid body color with an accent color beginning at the lower body crease and including the flares and bumpers. The other, more rare iteration was a mid-panel stripe that wrapped around the whole Jeep.

The tire carrier in its time wasn't that rare and it was a dealer option.

Mine looks like the the dark blue one in the first post the mid panel strip just light beige and then drark brown but it has the wheel flares bits the brown as well cause I have the pin striping and eveything as the blue but instead of those flares being the body color they are also brown is this possible from the manufactur cause nothing is even modified on this thing haha it was a 2 owner and one I bought it from never used it much only put 20k on it
