I was looking to build a front bumper for my 98xj. Any ideas, plans, or thoughts would be appreciated.

I was at the metal yard today, and they do 45% off for "scrap" and have some 1.9" od pipe for $1.50/ft. Would that be about the right size?

I'm also thinking about if I want to buy a tow hook kit and weld it to that, or fab or buy some longer bumper mounts and weld a mount for tow hooks on the bottom of them. Don't think I'll be in the market for a winch because it's a daily driver, but who knows someday?
