Default Sound system/speakers

I have the stock stereo head and speakers but all the speakers seem to be out most of the time except for the front passenger one. They all came on once out of nowhere and now they're off again. Any tips on how to get them back or what the problem could be?

if it's an aftermarket setup check all wiring at head uNIT AND ALL SPEAKER CONNECTIONS. SOUNDS LIKE LOOSE WIRE.

I'd check and reseat the head unit's connectors first. Usually its one speaker out or intermittently out. Usual suspect is a broken wire at the door jam cable.
But all speakers going out is unusual.

When the speakers go out is the head unit still powered up....lights still on? etc.
Does it only happen when playing CDs, tapes, radio or all of them?
