My 92 has speakers in the hatch, so I picked up a sound bar from a JY. My front speakers also went out, since they were tweeters on quick disconnects for when I take my doors off. I was thinking of relocating my new front speakers to the dash. However, I read some people took their sound bar and put it right behind the front seats. How would that sound? Could I also eventually get a second bar, and put it by the hatch, or would that not sound good? Then if I wanted to get a pair of tweeters, would it be beneficial at all to put them back in the door with this setup, or is that a waste? I'm using hatch speakers only right now and I miss having decent audio.



And here's my sound bar. Is this supposed to go under the headliner and snap into place? How do I secure it?

I am getting ready to do the same thing. I got a sound bar from JY this weekend without the rod/screw things in the middle. I am trying to figure out a mounting location or a way to mount that will not have the middle sag on me but without a self tapper running all the way through the roof.

I am going to paint mine up and finish it off like this one.
