Overview.
I am sitting on 4.5 with 33 12.5s trimmed and 15x10 alum rims. I drive 60 miles aday with back roads and about 20 miles round trip on the highway. My stock height milage was 18-21. I know I won't get that exact mpg back. But would like to get close as poss. I don't really care about extra power. Returning to stock power is good enough for me.
I don't wheel it at all and if i did it would be trails. I'm actually thinking about just keeping my stock bumpers too. I am just goin to fab some endcaps out of the same gauge steel that the bumpers are made out of.
So with deciding on 4.10s or 4.56s does goin with 4.10s compensate for the tire weight and rim weight and overall lack of areodynamics. With that said and keeping in mind i would like to get back to stock mpgs as close as possible what would you guys do, besides buying a honda...lol...????
When i do the gear calculations for the speeds i drive at, it tells me 4.10s. But that doesn't include the extra weight of afformentioned parts. Right??
tanx fellers...
