park on level surface, put it on 4 low, jack up the rear, pull tires off, pull drums off, move the brake shoe adjuster 4-5 clicks to extend the thread, fit the drums and check by moving back and forth, do it again a few more times as necessary. mine took over 20 clicks on the right side and about 12 on the left. doesn't drag at all...
now, it takes a lot less brake pressure to stop and excessive pressure makes me almost kiss the windshield.
i can definitely tell that it's not bucking forward nearly as much when slowing down...
and in the process i wire brushed some brake dust off the components and drums.
took under 30 minute from going upstairs to pull the jack out of the closet to going upstairs to put it back.
