An XJ in top shape brings good money. I few pristine examples went for big bucks on ebay recently.

 

yeah, he's right. I was offered 10k for mine twice, but I'm too attached to be financially responsible and sell it for more than I had in it... I love my jeep too much...

 

My buddy told me I could of gotten more but I jumped at the 3rd offer. I honestly didn't want to sell her but there was a freaken clunking noise that 3 lift shops could not find and that swayed me to let her go. Plus Iv had 4 of these and I got bored so new project it is....

 

I had a clunk in the front end of my 01 XJ that sounded like H**L. It was the front sway bar chassis bushings. New MOOG bushings.......no more clunk. A few other Jeep owners told me it's a common problem that often goes undiagnosed.
