Default sofaking old parts

so...here is my vent thread on the trusty jeep that really hasn't been problematic - until recently.

a couple weeks ago I may or may not have chosen to engage in a contest of acceleration with another vehicle. apparently upon 100% tps the old motor mount gave up on the drivers side. then one way or another it caused my front pcv elbow to break. after having to order both (front and rear) unicorn elbows I was able to repair it.

while replacing the rear elbow/line I noticed the gasket between the tb and intake manifold was leaking. ok. so I remove the tb, the gasket is basivly a potato chip at this point so whatever... but the tb is full of black soot and gom. can't have that. so as I am removing the butterfly screws one of them breaks off in the shaft. oh good. so I just drilled, easy outted, and thread chased said threaded hole and thoroughly douched my tb. heading to the parts store now, going to hopefully pick up those 3 sensors as well as a new gasket.

97 xj restore continues.

that's good to know. I removed everything (for the intake) from the donor jeep at the jy and it didnt seem terrible. I'm just lazy. I work too much to enjoy spending time repairing stuff on the jeep. b

The only hard part is getting to the bottom bolts that hold it on. I just replaced my header a few months ago and it took around 6 hours but that's mostly from ******* around
