Default Slow Acceleration

I have a 1985 Cherokee, and out of nowhere i have been having acceleration problems. its very slow and sluggish. I just changed my oil today, and I'm getting a new air filter. I'm not quite sure what else it could be, any ideas?

WELCOME

If you have slow acceleration (lack of power?) but otherwise it runs fine(no missing, starts fine, etc.)it could be your catalytic converter is stopped up.

Did you full up with a tank of bad gas perhaps? You may also want to try cleaning your Idle Air Control valve.

Cats really aren't that common for going bad, and they're expensive to replace, so start cheap. Maybe you're due for a tune up.
