Couple that with the removed bottom of the back seat, there will be plenty of space.
I sleep in my truck nearly every day at work for my lunch hour. I'm 6'1" and 165lbs. Diagonally works without switching the front seats.

Being 6'5" has some perks, this isn't one of them...
My g/f and I had to sleep in my XJ a few winters ago and I found it... disagreeable. To even fit, I had to put my head down by the gate and put my feet between the driver/pass chair then put my camera bag under my legs for padding. It worked in a pinch, but my legs felt funny after being elevated for a whole night. My g/f didn't seem to mind though, she's 5'9" 130lbs and fit with a bit of room to spare.
I really like the idea of that rear hatch screen, that would really give me the room I need to stretch out! To be honest, I could probably make one out of magnet strips and NoSeeEm mesh. Here in Pa we only have black bears, which are more currious that furious
so leaving the back open with mesh should be fine. I don't care much for tents, since I have just as much trouble finding one that my feet can stay inside AND will hold up for more than a year...

I am sort of in the same boat at 6'6". I was going to try one of those Explorer 2 hatch tents and maybe fab up a tailgate/extension that mounts in the hitch receiver for the extra length. At least as much as I can add and fit in the tent.

after losing my keys, getting locked out of the house, and having to sleep in the back, i went and bought some mosquito netting, a roll of craft magnets, and borrowed my mothers glue gun. i cut the netting to fit the windows then hot glued magnets to it. it is a little redneck, but once you roll all the windows down and stick the netting over the windows, it isn't too bad. it keeps the bugs out, lets the air in, and you can pull it off when your'e done and stick it in the back of the jeep for later use.
