Okay that part ordered, here is a tough one...
The interior door latch, the handle to open the door. The part where the rods connect on the back side broke... right where the rods connect...

that's what the 'vent' sounded like to me.....
let me get this straight, you're mad because you paid 2400 for a "used" vehicle, one in which you knew needed AC and new tires... but now you're pissed because you had to put new tires on it and now you're having window issues that you cannot repair..
to me it seems you need only take your xj to the shop to have it worked on, or you could've started a thread asking for help and guidance it which many here on the forum would have been glad to oblige...
btw, you could've fixed your control arm for around $30 not sure what you've destroyed taking it apart, but I suggest you take pics of your issues and start another thread...

The tires I knew about. And isn't this the general conversation area? so I could post and vent and take everyone's cra p...
As far as fixing it, the window motor was on its last leg and the regulator finally gave out. It was the timing of the whole thing that ticked me off..
But I thank everyone for the criticism. Glad to see we are all human and can take it as we dish it...
