Ok I have came across a 1990 xj. 5 speed 4 door 4x4. 255k miles and has some rust in the floor pans. Wants $1000 for it. Worth it?

Id pass on it. I paid 1500 for my 98 with 190k on it. Zero rust, brand new 30x9.5 bfgs, needing the brakes blead and an allginment. Save your pennies and find something for a few more bucks thats in nice shape.

 

id say yes because you could probably get him lower on the price.

 

He said he is sick of email 500 dollar offers, take him 600 bucks cash to his door step and I bet he will take it. If he is passive on the 600, tell him how big of a pile of **** the thing is and slowly pick every little thing out thats wrong with it.

I wouldn't think twice about $1000 if it didn't have that stupid camo paint job. $500 max.

 

Pass, there are a lot cleaner and less hacked XJs out there for the same money.

 

Hes getting $500 offers for a reason that thing is not worth the $1k.
