Default Shackles vs spring packs

I'm looking at lifting my jeep 3 in's and will probally do a budget lift since this is my toy, but wondering what everyone's opinons are on using shackles or spring packs for rear lift.

I have found both shackles and springs for it just wondering what the pro's and con's of using longer shackles for the lift.

Shackles will work on a temporary basis, but will eventually ruin a spring due to a change in geometry. Get the spring, you will be happier. Another issue with shackles is the change in pinion angle, which can cause a driveshaft vibration.

Yeah i figure i will just get a rough country 3" lift since it has everything with it to make it easier unless you guys have some inputs on a better 3" lift kit.
