are the seats the same?
Smittybilt makes these amazingly awesome/durable seat covers, my buddy bought a pair for his Wrongler... The question I have is, does anyone know how close to a decent fit would they be on my 2dr '00 XJ?

i really like those seat covers, too, but i figured they wouldn't fit because they were for a wrangler. the instructions say universal fit, though, so there's that. if you get them and they work, post up! i'll probably get some too. those are radical seat covers.

$100. Just click the "buy" button and it shows you the prices through online retailers. I'd be interested to find out how well they fit as well, although i have ZJ seats, so it could be even more different.

the fitment is for every wrangler from the 70's until now. there's no way that they haven't redesigned wrangler seats for nearly 40 years, so they have to be adjustable enough to work in an XJ.

Great find...never seen those.
I am building a MJ and plan to use 2 dr XJ seats to get the flip forward feature. It looks like those will work great! In a MJ every bit of extra storage space helps.

I posted this exact question a few months ago and got little response. I can't imagine that the fit would be that far off. It says anything from CJ to Wrangler. I just haven't spent the money on my set yet. I think mine were a differnetn brand though. Same idea. Post up if you get them on how they fit.
