Seat belt crisis!
I just bought an 89 and my chick won't let the kids ride in the back seat. I need to install over the shoulder seat belts in the back seat. Anyone have any good ideas?

You can. I did mine when i did my swap! Mine is an 85 that came with just lap belts in rear. My donor was a 91. Everything as far as holes were already in the 85. You will need the interior panels and head liner if you want it to look factory. Check my albums for more info and pics!

I Bought the wrecked 91 for 700 dollars, and built 1 jeep using the shell of the 85.
LanShark contacted me about doing the exact same thing as you, after i went over everything with him- he posted a video on YouTube showing how he did it! The parts can't be too much, and every thing already exists in your jeep as far as the body stamps to install the seat belts! PM me if you need more info or help. J.C.

I know this discussion is dated but, I am hoping that the poster with the video (or anyone) can help us replace the lap belt for the back seat. We have the parts but, it doesn't look as cut and dry as originally thought (when is it ever). Do you happen to have any links or videos to help? It a 2000 Cherokee Sport. Thanks!
