Seafoam

Where should I put Seafoam in my 2000 xj to remove the most carbon build up. Never used it before so just trying to get an insight where to put it. Thanks

Read the directions on the bottle. Some through the intake, some in the oil before a change and the rest in the gas tank.

I've heard 1/3rd the bottle in each, intake/vacuum line, gas tank, oil.

Be careful to pour slowly into the intake or vacuum line, try to avoid stalling it out (it will sputter as you pour it in).

I try to run Seafoam every few months, although I've never run it in my oil before. Just the induction system and the fuel tank.

I should probably try it in the oil one of these days.

Just put Seafoam in the fuel tank and vacuum like, smoked like a ***** for a few minutes. Probably because the old girl has 219k and never seen Seafoam...ever
