I just bought a 73 scout it has the v8 but not sure which one 4wd works motor sounds good has one bad rust spot on drive side door frame, no top, bents and dings like normal, good tires and paid 1500 for it so did i do good. Its gonna be my huntin buggy any opinion is good

Is the front axle a dana 30 or dana 44?

 

Im not sure what the difference is on axles but it has locking hubs for the 4x4 if that helps any

Both axles will have locking hubs the dana 30 was standard and the dana 44 was optional tell it became standard in 74 i think.
