Someone should finally make a thread where all the people post pics of their RC stuff failing or not working properly. Because every week there is a thread with people who's RC crap hasnt broken yet making arguments for how great RC is for the money against others who's RC stuff already broke telling everyone from experience to stay away.

Yeah but it always turns into why rc is bad. The bushings. And why my 2k 4.5in lift is so superior.
If your xj is a dd rc is a good company. If your entering the top truck challenge or king of hammers the. Rc will brake with that kind of stuff.
Heck even BDS bushings wear out!

Regardless of what anyone says, an aftermatket track bar is the right way to do it
I just thought it was funny that you felt comfortable with a flimsy track bar keeping your lifted front end centered but god forbid someone drive without sway bars
But different things apply to different situations I suppose

I mean i agree an aftermarket track bar is clearly better but thats a "temp fix" that isnt expensive. For the sway bars, i just think that on road you should have them unless you have your XJ set up to not run them (harder shocks, high spring rate coils, etc..) Even then you can make discos for cheap...

exactly. different things apply to different situations. mine's going to be set up to not run them. and like I said in the other thread, with short arms and bilsteins it'll be plenty stable. I wont even have room for sway bars after my steering upgrades. no point in even bothering with discos.

this thread has gotten pretty off topic

Sure. Im not talking about bushings. And RC stuff does not come with a warning not to use for offroad or on rocks. These are supposed to be offroad parts and according to you their stuff holds up well as long as you dont take it offroading? Thats pretty bad quality if you ask me. we are hijacking the thread tough. Im done here.
