I just throught a modern redo would be cool. My buddy did it to his XJ. He has it so that all that sticks past the grill is the roller and he built his own bumper around it. He is hiding a Warn 10k winch but he did take out the stock front cross member and made his own to replace it and hold the winch

Ya o did it to mine, and helped a few others do it to theirs. All that you see is a fairlead the winch sits under the radiator.
Oh and to the OP I really have nothing to contribute in public cause if I was gonna build a sema xj I want everything I do to be a surprise

Just wanted to bump this one back to the top to see if there was any further development or progress to report.
You know that we would all be interested to know. And given that before long we'll probably see some SEMA version of that 2014 abomination Jeep/Fiat is going to call a "Cherokee" at SEMA, it would be great if there were a REAL one to show off there.
