Default Rusty's Off-Road Grind my gears!

They sent me upper adj. instead of lower adj. like I ordered. I really need to get my DD on the road soon! Now they want me to send the uppers back. Just thinkin about keepin them I'm so ticked!

Although, they might charge me..

Just venting but does anybody else have problems with Rusty's?

x2. Got my lift through them and that's been it. Granted, love the lift and haven't had a single issue, but shipping on anything from them is WAY too high.

Just ordered left and right knuckles and 2 ball joint kits from Rusty. Even with shipping it was about $150 less than the auto parts stores and the local JY won't sell just the knuckles... instead the JY wants $450 for 1 axle!

Hope they resolve your problem. I have ordered from them before and haven't had an issue. Please let us know how your CS experience goes.

yet they had so many breakages

I had coils bend into crinkle fry shapes and had photo graphs showing proper axle positon - they offered 1/2 off a new set.

I had a sway bar link break on me with photo graphs showing nothing was out of place - they wouldnt warranty them at all.

they sent me the wrong shocks that i ordered, i didnt even instal them yet and they wouldnt work with me on getting them resolved.

their control arms are course threaded which has less thread engagement

fine threaded ANY DAY!

Rusty's shipping prices are a joke, every time I think I am about to order something I calculate the shipping and I change my mind, My buddy was looking at the heavy lower control arm mounts and changed his mind when he found he could get the IRO ones shipped for less than the rusty's before shipping, hell I delayed finishing my lift cuz the bushings for the rusty's rear leafs will cost me $80+ I found some local for less than half (of course the leafs I found are the ones that don't use stock bushings)
Sighhhhhhhh
I'm better now

Yeah I really love their products too, and I was was shocked to see how beefy the control arms are. After all said and done everything went smooth. Nick, one of their employers, offered me a great deal on the uppers since they were already in my possession. Agreed though, they need to adjust their shipping system(I'd bet they're probably making another 10% profit off of us in shipping alone).

we order rusty's stuff by the pallet load weekly, never have any issues with them.

but, maybe that's because of how much we order.

and on the rough country comments. we currently have an LJ in the shop with an RC short arm kit. he's getting his bushings replaced for the 2nd time in 6months and the customer replaced the flex joints about 8 months ago himself. the kit has been on his jeep less than 2yrs. this is just one example of the complaints we get about RC dealing with ride quality, bushing wear, flex joint life.

i wouldnt put RC above Rustys in any way.
