I had Rusty's 3" coils on my first lift. They worked well and are soft. But I swapped them out for RE coils because Rusty's were too soft for the desert wheeling I ended up doing.

Rusty's 3" coils have two different spring ratings. The ones with a 180lb spring rating are very stiff. They are usaully for XJ's with a heavy front bumper and/or a winch. I do run with guys who do swear by RE though. It's all in what works for each of us. Not an anti-RE guy, just never used them.

kept my stock lower arms for awhile before going to RE heavy duty ones. They worked fine, I just got a killer deal on the RE ones. As far as brake lines, buy a set of fronts from a '95 YJ and a rear from a '96 Dakota. They'll give you a lot more travel than your stock ones.
Definitely upgrade to a HD drag link (tie rods) and trac bar if you plan wheeling at all just to play it safe.

This makes a huge difference! Go ahead and remove your rear sway bar as well. It's worthless in all reality. If you're doing this, make sure to get the brake lines I mentioned above.

Yeah, i had Rusty's HD coils, but it was still too soft. The RE ZJ coils are about 200lb which is a good combo. I think the Rusty coils are good all around.
