Default Rust Question

Hey guys, I am looking to buy my first Cherokee as a long time admirer. I have seen this question addressed in other parts of the forum, but wanted some advice on a specific vehicle. I am looking at a Cherokee to purchase on Ebay and was wondering about the amount of rust and if it is a no go. Thanks in advance for the advice.

BTW Jeep looks otherwise clean and is listed at $4900.

Are you able to go see it in person before purchase? Test drive it, do a thorough inspection, or have a mechanic verify any major issues?

If not, I'd pass.

Thanks for the quick replies. I have no experience repairing rust and very little doing any kind of body work so I will continue the search. Thanks again!

Put it this way if you were to take that to a good body shop with today's prices it would cost almost as much to fix it as they're asking for the Jeep . Keep looking they're out there without rust you may have to travel , I did .

Look for 91-99 years and if your looking out of state id look southern states or out west where its dry and never snows.
