rubicon and up country group?

Default whats up country package?

i got my build sheet from jeep,not to sure what all this stuff means or is,whats the up country group and the Rubicon group? it said i had a rubicon group as well

does anyone kno what these packages are at all,i have a rubicon package b4 rubicon was even out? and whats a up country package to?

No Rubicon package on the XJ. Chrysler has been knwon to recycle equipment codes so it may just be a misprint.

The UpCountry is a suspension package. It came with one inch taller springs all around. It would of also included all three skids; engine, transfer case and gas tank.

It also include a rear LSD, a Dana 35 I believe

yea i was wonderin that cuz i have a dana35 and have a lsd rear end

Then you definetly have the up-country pakage, pretty rare pakage, at least where i live it is anyway

yea,it is here to,but my step mom bought it brand new in 91 and had it customed ordered,then i got it

Default not to steal ur thread but i gotta quick ?

Ok so I have the "up country" package from what my jeep says atleast but I see a plastic gas tank skid but no motor or transfercase skid could it be they were taken off by previous owner? The gas tank skid a better skid then what my buddy have on his sport but idk just curious any help would be nice

packages can be altered when they bought it new,i dont kno y anyone would do that but thats a possibility

Gas tank skid is metal not plastic. Plastic would defeat the purpose.

Ok well I def don't have that edition idk y someone would get a custom paint of a factory color and put up country on it is there any other ways to tell? Mines fully loaded leather all power heated seats factory tinited rear glasses and it did sit up higher then my buddies sport but idk I'm just curious

Country is the trim level, like Sport or Classic. It does not refer to the UpCountry package. The Country trim was the highest trim level available for your model year, similar to the 97+ Limited.
