What makes the ride worse is the Short control arms at such a steep angle, and the horrible shackle angle. Get shackle relocation brackets and long arms. Night and day difference in ride quality. Keep in mind though, it is still a 4x4, not a cadillac.

I run skyjacker nitros, they are stiff but have 5/8" shafts. Plus they were cheap and had a rebate when I bought them. They have held up good and I'm hard on stuff.

I have the control arm drop kit and it's a huge difference from having the control arms at a steep angle.

My 3 inch isn't too bad.. Leafs tend to twist a lot but that's my fault. It's noisy but I think it's normal. What kind of ride do you want? Smooth? Not stiff? What do you want?. We're in jeeps you will feel bumps. And you will hear noise.

I have the Rough Country 4.5" long arm, with Deaver springs front & rear along with Fox smooth body shocks and it rides & like a Cadillac... I did make boomerang shackles 2" longer than stock.

If looking for better ride then sell the jeep and get a nice little car.

I have Rough country 3" lift and pleased with it, like folk said before smooth ride?
Get a Rolls Royce.
For the money I have no regrets.

Default Rc lift

I don't no much about lifts but I brought a 2000 XJ with RC lift kit and on the road ride I hate. I'm looking for some info and a shop who I can take it too to help me fix the ride or make it better.

I am looking at strength and lasting me a while bc i don't feel like replacing them every 20000 miles. Get it now?
