ive never had any rough country product but from what ive heard rough countrys leaf springs are to short, they ride rough, and the joints wearout fast. some people get the rough country and seem happy but i would rather go with a reputable quality lift. JMO

i have the 4.5 in rough country lift, I'm happy with the lift height , however i recommend the long arm kit I,m saving up to add that , and the ride is really rough I've had the lift for a year and I'm still breaking it in

I have the 6.5 inch from Rough Country and I'm happy with it all around. I plan to also go long arm in time. Certainly recommend long arm over anything else. If you don't get the long arm... AT LEAST get the control arm drop brackets for the short arm kit.

Im fairly certain that it will work with aw4 or ax15. Its the peugeot that it doesnt work with.

I have it on my 89 xj with a peugeot, but the crossmember was modified.

My kit works with either ax15 or aw4 all years, so I would assume theirs does too.

So is it with the extra $800 to get the long arm? Cause that's a nice set of tires

If you are even thinking of getting the long arm kit upgrade over short arm. It's such a better ride with long arms. And if you do the short arm kit and then down the road do the long arm upgrade. You have wasted money on the short arms. Take the leap it will be a nice landing(:
